Our Story
SimpleMotion began in 2006 as Q Motion Automation, founded on the belief that motion control in live entertainment deserved the same engineering rigour as any safety-critical system. In 2016 we became SimpleMotion, reflecting our growing reach across architecture, entertainment, and industry.
In 2026 we celebrate twenty years of engineering motion — from single-axis theatre hoists to complex multi-axis touring automation systems powering hundreds of performances worldwide.
